After last night's loss of brain cells due to
arousing pictures of the male cast of LoTR kissing each other, I spent today almost on its entirety with my friend Fabi, with whom I went to see RoTK with. It was lovely -- a 1pm showing on a humongous theater with only 4 people there. Big, comfy chair, popcorn... sigh. Perfection. Plus, the movie keeps on getting even better every time. Fabi did her girlfriend bit handing me tissues everytime I cried, but near the end, she just said: "See, you're screwed now, because all I have left is a condom, honey." ;)
After that, we went for a walk on the mall and I acquired the
RoTK visual companion for a fantastic price. At that point, we decided we needed a a coffee to discuss the movie, and we ended up on this Vietnamese restaurant, called Shangri-La. No coffee: Cosmopolitans for us. Those were gooood. To top the night off, a Molten Lava Cake on Chili's (diet? What diet?).
We also talked a lot about friends, relationships and all those complicated things of adult life, and how when we were little we never thought it'dbe this messy. Then, in order not to get down, the conversation shifted to better topics: sex. I tell you, it was a Sex & The City episode, only longer. We promised ourselves to get more in touch with our pervert selves by making good use of her digital camera and our bodies, and by hitting an ambient bar sometime soon and see what all the fuss is about. Plus, there's a chance someone tried to hit on us. Heee.
Now, some rest. Casablanca waits for me on DVD. :)
